Together with other changes in immigration policies and regulations, a new improvement was applied to Caregiver program in 2015. Instead of \u201clive-in\u201d, the caregivers can live out and come-and-go to provide care-giving service to the employers\u2019beloved ones.<\/p>\n

The new caregivers program consists of two pathways:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Caring for Children (in a home)<\/li>\n
  2. Caring for People with High Medical Needs (for the elderly or those with disabilities or chronic disease in a health facility or in a home)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Both pathways can help a qualified caregiver to apply for permanent residency after two years of full-time working with accredited minimum-one-year education and language ability.<\/p>\n
